(no other diffs)Set the debugging of your blockip "on" and run the test script like this:
$ blockiptest 2> ~/results
Then review the results file and check the mail of the person you are sending the alert to. You should get a message roughly like this one:

Subject: DENYnew/cracker.com/Zservice?/111.222.33.44/U=joe
